Description: Keller is a special boy. He is blind from Glaucoma. He is friendly with kids and people, but skittish when the other dogs come up and start sniffing him. He doesn't get upset, just startled. He seems to be housebroken and likes to be carried around and held. He has quickly learned his way around my house and knows where his favorite spots are. He can jump up on the couch, climbs a ramp to get on and off my bed and seems to know exactly where I am at all times. He will often be found curled up on a doggy bed asleep with one of the other dogs. We are listing him as available for adoption, but he will not be available to go until he has his eye surgery. The surgery will not give him his vision back (already got two opinions from eye specialists) but will give him prosthetic eyes which will make him look fairly normal since he will retain his own eyes (they remove what's inside). He will have his surgery as soon as we raise the money for it (approx. $1,300.00).
