Description:
My Brother Donny and I were taken from a home in Sebring, FL.  Animal Care and Control officers found us both tied to a tree with electrical cords around our necks.  I had just given birth to my three beautiful babies in the mud during a pouring rainstorm.  We had no food or water and I was almost dead from starvation.  Because I had no fat reserves or muscle tone left, my body did not produce any milk for my babies and they starved to death at Animal Care and Control within 24 hours of being born.  A nice lady that helps A Second Chance Rescue pulled us from the shelter and drove us to a meeting place in Indiantown.  From there it was on to our new foster home in Wellington.  Our foster Mommy loves us to pieces and says we are very sweet and loving dogs.  We get along with all of the doggies at her place (big and small) and we have both put on weight.  I actually am looking pretty good if I do say so myself (see updated pics of me below).  I have some bald areas on my tail and back legs/feet and buttocks area that may be scarring from previous trauma and having no muscles to pad the skin/bones.  The Veterinarian who "fixed" and chipped us, did a skin scraping and it was negative for mange or mites.  So I may never grow hair there.  I'm still beautiful though.  I would like to find a forever home with my brother Donny.  We love to be together.
