Cherry

Cherry, she is now Bella, is just a whole lot of fun. Very energetic and playful. Feisty too. If you reprimand her she barks at you and then takes off.

She loves to run around the backyard with one of her toys in her mouth. She got used to her new crate after just two nights. She doesn't really care to be in there, but she doesn't whine much, sometimes not at all, when she has to go in there for the night anymore.

Her appetite is good and she seems quite happy and healthy.

Cashmere

Cashmere.... How lucky we feel to have her in our family.

From the day we brought her into our family we just knew she was special. She is fully potty trained... she will sit at your feet and stare quietly  at you until you open the back door....so smart!  She is now sleeping all night (yeah).

We are sure the foster approach is by far the best way for an abandoned puppy to begin their life, it just shows in the demeanor of the pups.

Thank you to all the volunteers who give so much so families like ours can be blessed with a little girl like Cashmere.

Cabella

Piper (formerly Cabella) is a bossy little princess who loves to spend her time playing, digging and tearing around the back yard, and tormenting her brother, Memphis. She is such a sweet girl with a big personality... and a bit of social anxiety. We don't understand why. When we adopted her we were told she was likely a hound mix... With all of the little light specks of red you can only see right after a bath, and her hunter instincts, we think she is a red tick coonhound.

Piper and Memphis have made every day of our lives so much better. They both have free reign over the house all day every day... while we are in the middle of training sessions now, the furniture has teeth marks, there are holes dug all over the back yard, my fiancé and I have no room to sleep in our own bed... But our hearts are bigger, and our lives are enriched. Our pups are our family and we couldn't imagine our life without them.

Thank you for all that you do to save every life. They are all so special and deserve the very best loving forever homes. So many horror stories to read... hopefully this one will just be a reminder that all of your efforts pay off with every animal saved and every adoption made.

Stacy and Shelly:

We just wanted to let you know that Cyndi is fitting in very well with her "brother" Jake. Attached is a picture of Cyndi (on the left) and Jake, enjoying some outside play-time the other day.

Cyndi is also fitting in very well with the rest of the family.

Cyndi was named Calli when she was with you, but we had to change her name to avoid confusion within the family.

We are very fortunate to have been able to adopt her. She is a sweetheart!

Coach

We adopted “Coach” the Catahoula mix back in November! We have renamed him Cain, and he is AWESOME!!!! Goes everywhere with us, he loves to be out where ever we are! So far easy to train, and has quite the personality when you tell him “NO” he barks one more time to make sure he has the last word! Just wanted to say Thank You again Cain has really been a Great dog!!!! The Carmeans.
