Jelly

Kodiak (now Kody) is doing great. He is such a love bug. We adopted him and Jelly (now Shadow) and they could not be closer. They get a little carried away sometimes, but a quick time out settles them down. We are so enjoying their company, antics and getting to know their personalities. I have a ton of pictures (and video) and will send them under separate e-mail as soon as I have a few minutes to down load them from my camera. As I'm sure you well know, 2 puppies (3 1/2 months old) require a lot of attention and work. They truly are a blessing and we could not be happier with the new members of our family. The two are very entertaining and keep us amused even when they sleep (couldn't be more relaxed). Shadow (though smaller) is the instigator and Kody is the Houdini. They are such a delight and have enriched our lives. Thank you all for the wonderful work you and the other people at A Second Chance Rescue provide. Not only providing a safe and loving environment for the puppies until they are adopted, but the joy they bring to the people who adopt them. What a nice fit. We recommend A Second Chance site to anyone that inquires about where we found such lovely puppies and is considering getting a dog or cat.

May 2011 Update:
Hi Lisa:
I thought I would update you on Jackson (who my granddaughter named Tater as soon as she saw him). He is doing great. He is starting to act more like a Jack Russell. We take him on a walk every night and when we get home he runs through the house as fast as he can. He spends most of his time on my lap or my husband's lap, actually on anyone's lap that happens to sit down. He was afraid of the grandchildren when he first got here, but now he is used to them and has realized they drop a lot of food on the floor. Plus, thank goodness all of the grandkids are very gentle with animals. I am going to attach a few pictures. He loves to sit on my lap in the kid's swingset in the back yard. We all love him and he is very spoiled. Just wanted to give you an update.

Jackson arrived safely in Michigan. He is fitting in just fine. Pretty much a lap dog. Here are a couple pictures of him after he arrived. He doesn't seem to mind the snow. It has a nice crust on top so he can walk on top. He did break through the crust and didn't quite know what to do. He is definitely interested in figuring out what it is.

Hi there, Thanks for contacting us regarding Jyngle (aka Bella), she is doing really great. All the kids and our other dogs as well as cats just adore her. We are working really hard at training her to potty outside and only chew the approved toys (couches are not allowed!) as well as sleeping through the night…this she is finally getting the hang of. She is growing very quickly. She is just about grown out of her second collar J I will attach a few pics…Enjoy!

Kathy, Thank you to you and your organization. Jackie or as we call her now "Mia" is doing great. She has enough energy for five cats. We love her and she is a great addition to our family. Thanks again.

Jupiter

Hi, We received your follow up letter on Jupiter. We want to thank you for such a wonderful puppy, she has already brought so much joy not only to us but to our 7 year old lab, Biscuit. Biscuit thinks she is a puppy again. We did change Jupiter's name to Kali though. She has already grown by leaps and bounds as you can see in the pictures. I've put some pictures in this email for you, she really is such a smart dog and we couldn't be happier. We always say we got so lucky with her. I'm sure a lot has to do with the care you have all shown her before you passed her on to us. Thanks again for her and feel free anytime to check on her.
