Success Stories

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Venza

Venza (AKA) Bella is doing great. She is a typical puppy. Very curious, energetic, loving and mischievous. She loves to go for our daily walk. She is enrolled in puppy kindergarten. We have to work on the behaviors most labs have difficulty with, pulling and jumping. In time I'm sure she will get better. She also likes to dig holes in the back yard. Hopefully she will stop doing that as well. We have a few pictures to send you, I will email those to you. Thanks to Second Chance Puppies our family is complete again.

Valen

Good morning! Valen is doing great!!! We didnt change his name...he already answered to it so we kept it! He is such a little sweetie! We are so happy to have him. He is doing great potty training...a few accidents here and there but thats expected. He is a bit allergic to the pollen so hopefully it goes away soon. It caused an ear infection and the Vet gave us drops. But other than that he is wonderful! The kids are so excited they FINALLY got a puppy! We are leaving for Tn on Friday so Valen will go on his first road trip. Thank you so much for everything. When we return we would love to volunteer at an adoption event!

Voliny

Voliny name has changed to Candela (which means fire) because she is non stop active. But we are so please with her she has turn out to be very smart everything I tell her in spanish she does, Oh yes she has learned Spanish besides English. She does alot of things to make us laughs. She spends time with me and my parents and my father and mom are crazy about her, because my dad had a little chiwawa that die last year of a stroke. She has borught alot of Joy in our lives. Valley

Hi Kathy, Valley (or Halas as we have renamed her) has adjusted very nicely to our family. She is the best puppy ever and we absolutely love her and spoil her as much as possible!!! -Best Amanda -- --

Vinyl

Hi Kathy- Brushci (Vinyl) is doing wonderfully and is currently snuggled at the foot of our bed with his big sister, Fenway. They have become very fast friends and you can find them playing tug-of-war or napping at all times :) Thanks for checking in! Corey
