Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Hi Shelley. I'm doing great in my new home with my new name. My humans really love me! I have tons of room to run around which I can do whenever I want. I spend a lot of time playing with my friend, Mambo and chasing squirrels. I finally figured out that I'm supposed to go to the bathroom outside. Who knew?? I have lots of toys and I even have 2 kittens to play with. I am very healthy. I have lots of new muscles and a slick, shiny coat. My mom is so proud of how smart I am and how much I've learned.
