Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Furbie

Hello! Furbie (renamed Rudy) is doing very well! He is now around 31 pounds and absolutely handsome!! He has made numerous friends in the neighborhood, both dogs and humans. He loves any toy that squeaks. He is not fond of riding in the car or getting in the pool (although he is getting better at both). We started "puppy training" classes and he is a star at "sit". Not so much at "stay", but he will get there. We had his brother and sister (adopted by my daughter-in-law) over on the 4th of July. The puppies had a great time playing together! We are so happy we had the opportunity to add Rudy to our family! Thank you for all the support and advice!! Pat
