As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Hi everyone!

I just wanted to share a few pictures of Akira and I. It's been almost a year since I adopted her and it’s been the BEST decision I've ever made. She is my first dog and first adoption. If my home were bigger, I would without hesitation adopt another 4 legged friend!

She's SUPER friendly and loving. Everyone that meets her say she's a very happy and beautiful dog. She used to jump a lot on people to greet them, but we've worked on that and she's gotten a lot better.

Thank you guys for all the hard work and all the dedication you put into the rescue. I know I wouldn't have met Akira if you guys weren't involved in the picture!
