Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Mylo

Hello All, Mylo is precious! As my husband said; "Mylo has taken up where Kirby left off". Kirby was our friend for 18 years and we had to let him go in February of this year. Where do I start? Mylo is bringing so much joy and happiness to us all. He is adored by our son and daughter and all who come in contact with him. We have taken him with us on two trips to North Carolina and he loves it! The long walks and cold weather are his favorite. He actually prefers the colder weather. We are still learning so much about him. He loves to play hide and seek with my husband. I didn't know that dogs did that. He is very protective of his domain now. I have bags and bags of toys that have been given to him by friends and family. He is so spoiled and his Christmas stocking will be full too!!
