Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Iyan

Hi Second Chance, I just received the DNA results from Iyan. We ordered the wisdom panel from Dr. Fox. We are told that he is cocker spaniel, scottish terrier mix and crossed chow. Iyan's new name is Wilson and everyone stops and asks us, "What kind of dog is that?". The process at PetCo went smooth. It took about an hour and half to adopt and get a few things from the store. Thanks so much for this beautiful new puppy. He is happy, healthy and learning new things every day. We've probably told around a hundred people about who you are, where you are and what you do.
