Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. Cyrus

One day to be house broken, two days to crate train. Cyrus, now known as "THOR", has adjusted well and he seems to be very happy having an older peer to look up to. Chloe, on the other hand is adjusting to sharing with her new sibling.

Both are doing well and seem to like each other's company more and more each day. As long as Chloe lays down the ground rules and Thor follows, everything is good.

Thor has gotten to where he has his own section of the yard that he takes care of, this is not far from the food bowl, water bowl, or bed, but he will run and bark and mark off his territory. He learned this from Chloe as he watches her in the mornings run the yard to clear of any intruders. At the end of the day, they lay down together and take a nap.

I wonder if Chloe has realized that Thor is going to be twice her size someday.
